In this position you will set the special event room, serve guests, clear tables, and clean areas before and after the event as directed. Must be able to communicate with coworkers, management, and others in a courteous, professional manner. Must also be able to read and interpret safety rules. Limited education and/or experience required. High school diploma or equivalent and six months work experience in the hospitality industry preferred. Proficiency in English also preferred.
The Captain manages the entire special event on the day scheduled in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, including the following:
- Supervises all back and front house event staff
- Ensures all required materials, labor, and equipment are available
- Opens and closes the event venue
- Prepares and submits accurate reports as required
Must be able to communicate with coworkers, management, and others in a courteous, professional manner. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or two years hospitality/banquet experience and/or training.
